MEET OUR FOUNDER

Mary D. Gano is an award-winning business leader with more than three decades of combined experience spanning supplier diversity, supply chain sustainability, talent acquisition, and project management.

Before founding MDG Consulting Services, LLC, Mary served as Senior Manager, Supplier Diversity & Supply Chain Sustainability at a regulated energy company, where she built and led initiatives that advanced inclusive procurement and sustainable supply chain practices. She also spent several years as a Talent Acquisition Manager, partnering with legal teams and business leaders to evaluate candidates and make final hiring decisions—including those impacted by background check results. This blend of supplier engagement and HR expertise gives her a unique perspective on how organizations can strengthen both their supply chains and their workforce strategies.

Mary is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) who has successfully led cross-functional projects valued at up to $2M. She is recognized for her ability to design and execute programs that drive business growth, strengthen community partnerships, and deliver measurable results.

At MDG Consulting Services, Mary combines her passion for inclusion, her HR and procurement expertise, and her project management skills to help clients build resilient, future-focused programs that foster innovation, economic growth, and organizational success.
